Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine is one of the most important and busiest shrines in India. The journey to the Holy Shrine takes you through varous places where Mata Vaishno Devi had spent time while doing various spiritual sadhanas and rituals. The Journey ends at the Holy Cave of Mother Godess where you can take darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi in Pindi Form.
After taking blessings of Mata the next part of trip will cover the majestic Bhaderwah Valley. Bhaderwah is also known as mini-Kashmir because of it breathtaking beauty. Bhaderwah is also known as “Nagon ki Bhoomi or the land of snakes”. Final part of trip will cover mesmerizing views of Patnitop. Trip will also cover Mansar and Surinsar lakes.
Day 1: Jammu/Katra Arrival and Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan
Arrival in Jammu/Katra.
Check-In at hotel in Katra
After getting freshed up get ready to trek 14 Kms to the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi. You can hire pony or palanquin (at extra cost). After darshan at holy cave you can proceed to darshan of Bhairo Nath Ji. Return to hotel by evening. Overnight dinner and stay at hotel.
Day 2: Katra-Bhaderwah Local
After breakfast you will be taken to Bhaderwah.You will be taken aback by the beauty, cleanliness and calmness of this town. Bhaderwah is also known as mini-Kashmir because of it breathtaking beauty. Bhaderwah is also known as “Nagon ki Bhoomi or the land of snakes”. En Route Bhaderwah you will be passing via Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel earlier known as Chenani-Nashri Tunnel. This is the longest tunnel in India with a length of 9.28 Kms and has the distinction of first tunnel in country to have a fully integrated tunnel control system. After Lunch you will be taken to Bhaderwah Fort, Vasu Nag Temple, Chandi Mata temple, Gupt Ganga. Overnight stay in Bhaderwah.
Day 3: Bhaderwah-Jai Valley-Bhaderwah
After breakfast proceed for Jai Valley which is around 32 Kms from Bhaderwah town. The road to Jai valley runs through forests of fir and pine.Jai valley has around 9 Kms long meadows bisected by a stream called Jai Nallah which merges with river Chenab. Explore the valley during the day and return tto Bhaderwah for overnight stay.
Day 4: Bhaderwah-Padri Top-Bhaderwah
After breakfast we will take you to Padri Pass. It is the highest point on Bhaderwah Chamba national highway. Padri Top provides majestic panaromic view of Himalayas. We will return to Bhaderwah in the evening. Overnight stay in Bhaderwah.
Day 5: Bhaderwah-Patnitop
After breakfast you will be taken to most famous hill station of Jammu named Patnitop. Check in at hotel/cottage at Patnitop. Patnitop is located at an altitude of 2024 metres and is situated right on the Jammu - Srinagar Highway. Visit the famous Nag Temple, Padora Enclave & Patnitop park. You will be astonished by the beauty of Pine Forests. Dinner will be served at hotel/cottage.
Day 6: Patnitop-Mansar-Surinsar-Jammu
After breakfast say goodbye to majestic pines and proceed to Mansar. Mansar has a beautiful lake surrounded by forests on all the sides. You can enjoy boating in the lake. You can also visit various ancient temples while at Mansar. Now proceed to Surinsar lake. After clicking few pictures at Surinsar lake we will take you to Jammu. Drop at Jammu Railway station/Bus Stop.
